From here, the road winds up to Bomdila, a picturesque town set against a backdrop of towering mountains, serene monasteries, and mist-filled valleys. As you ascend further into the mountains, you’ll reach Tawang, a place of mystic beauty and spiritual significance, known for its ancient Tawang Monastery and the jaw-dropping vistas of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.

  • Anything that is not mentioned in the cost inclusion.
  • Early check-in (Before 1:00 PM) & Late Check-out (After 11:00 AM) at the hotel.
  • Personal Expenses of any sort.
  • Extra room, Food cost incurred due to delayed travel.
  • Cost Of Any Spare Part Which Will Be Used Due To The Accidental Damage Incurred When The Motorbike Is In Rider’s Possession.
  • Cost Incurred To Transfer Or Tow The Motorbike In Case It Is Dropped On The Way.
  • Any lunch / Snack and other meals not mentioned in Package Inclusions.
  • Any Airfare / Rail fare other than what is mentioned in “Inclusions” or any type of transportation from Guwahati to Guwahati.
  • Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
  • A security deposit of Rs. 5,000/- per motorbike. As per the deposit policy, this amount is refundable if there is no damage or spare parts used by the end of the trip. The Amount will be refunded instantly.

Day 1

Arrival at Guwahati | Expedition Kick-off

The expedition begins in Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeast. Riders arrive through the day and check in to the hotel. The evening is relaxed, allowing everyone to unwind after travel and get familiar with the group and machines. A brief overview of the route and riding days ahead sets the tone for the journey. Day 2

Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park | Rolling Through the Plains

Distance: ~195 km | Ride Time: 5–6 hrs

The ride begins on smooth highways as the group heads east from Guwahati into Assam’s countryside. April brings fresh greenery, warm air, and clear roads. Tea gardens, small towns, and long open stretches make this an easy and enjoyable first riding day. By afternoon, the expedition reaches Kaziranga, surrounded by forested landscapes and quiet rural life. Overnight stay near Kaziranga. Try to do the jungle safari today as tomorrow you have lot of distance to cover.

Day 3

Kaziranga Safari & Ride to Bomdila | Hills Ahead

Distance: ~240 km | Ride Time: 7–8 hrs

Early morning, riders head out for a jungle safari in Kaziranga, experiencing the region’s rich wildlife before returning for breakfast. The ride then continues toward Arunachal Pradesh. After crossing Tezpur and Bhalukpong, the terrain begins to change as roads turn twisty and the air grows cooler. Forests, rivers, and hill roads accompany the ascent into Bomdila. Arrival by evening. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 4

Bomdila to Tawang via Sela Pass | Mountain Riding Day

Leaving Bomdila, the ride follows the scenic Dirang Valley before climbing gradually toward Sela Pass. In April, the landscape opens up with clear skies, flowing streams, and alpine terrain. Sela Lake appears calm and reflective, offering a perfect mid-ride halt. The road then descends into the wide Tawang valley, with monasteries and mountain slopes coming into view. Arrival in Tawang by late afternoon. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 5

Tawang to Bum La Pass, Madhuri Lake & PT Tso Lake | High-Altitude Exploration

Today’s ride explores the high-altitude region around Tawang. The road leads toward Bum La Pass, running alongside army settlements and vast open landscapes. After spending time near the border area, the route continues to Madhuri Lake, known for its striking blue waters and dramatic surroundings. The final stop of the day is PT Tso Lake, a quiet and lesser-visited lake nestled among rolling hills. The return ride to Tawang is unhurried, with time to absorb the stark beauty of the region. Overnight stay in Tawang.

 

Note: Bum La Pass will be covered by a local union vehicle, as riding bikes on this stretch can be dangerous.

Day 6

Tawang Local Run | Culture & Easy Miles

A relaxed day focused on exploring Tawang town and its cultural landmarks. The ride begins with a visit to the iconic Tawang Monastery, followed by Chakzam Suspension Bridge and the giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley. The evening is reserved for the War Memorial, where the light and sound show offers insight into the region’s history. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 7

Tawang to Dirang via Jung Waterfall | Riding Downhill

The expedition begins its gradual descent from the high mountains. The road winds through forests and valleys, with a stop at the scenic Jung (Nuranang) Waterfall. April greenery and flowing rivers make this stretch especially pleasant to ride. By afternoon, the group reaches Dirang, a peaceful valley town known for its relaxed pace and natural surroundings. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 8

Dirang to Guwahati via Shergaon | Return to the Plains

An early departure from Dirang as the ride heads through Shergaon’s open meadows and highland villages. The route slowly descends toward Tezpur, where mountain roads give way to wide highways. The final stretch back to Guwahati is steady and familiar. Arrival by evening marks the completion of the riding circuit. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Departure | Journey Concludes

Terms and Conditions
  • The check-in time is 12 noon/early check-in subject to the availability of the room.
  • If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of a hotel stay, transportation, meals, etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither Mototour Ladakh nor the participating partners/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
  • The sequence of the day-wise itinerary tour program may change depending upon traffic schedules/restrictions on some roads and other unforeseen events.
  • If any group member wants to leave the group in-between the tour then he/she has to pay the cost for transportation of bike from point of leaving the tour till the tour endpoint.
  • Group members would have to carry a valid ID proof & Driving license is mandatory.
  • All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. Only backpacks are allowed. You can carry luggage weighing not more than 50 Litre backpack per person with you. Extra luggage will cost you INR 500 per Kg. Compensation for any damage/accident done by you during the tour to others property/person would be directly payable by you.
  • If someone cancel the trip on arrival he or she has to pay the total billing amount.
  • We have the right to cancel the departure due to insufficient members in the batches. In such a situation, guests are eligible for a full refund.
  • Basic First Aid Kit - It’s advised that one should bring his/her own medicines which are known and suitable to him.
  • Road Captain will be responsible to manage the group by taking all safety measures. The group has to follow him to make the tour a success. 
Cancellation Policy

Cancellation before 30 days of departure 80% of total trip cost is refundable

Cancellation before 15 days of departure 50% of total trip cost is refundable

Cancellation before 7 days of departure 30% of total trip cost is refundable

Cancellation within 7 day to the departure date is non-refundable.
